Victor Harbor, Goolwa & Mouth of the Murray - Small Group Tour

From AUD $245.00
  • Duration: 8 Hours (approx.)
  • Product code: ATF13 - VH Small Group Tour

It’s an early morning start today as we head down to Glenelg, driving through the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula, passing Adelaide’s magnificent southern beaches and the southern Lofty mountain range, appears as a wave for the back drop - on our sojourn to revel in the splendour that is - Victor Harbor.

Choose to explore the Victor Harbor shoreline, shopping and galleries or take a relaxed ride on the historic Horse Drawn Tram across The Causeway to Granite Island. The Tramway commenced operation in 1894 and is one of two remaining in the world that operate a daily service.

Later, a mouth-watering restaurant lunch is waiting for us back at ‘Victor’.

After lunch, we head to The Goolwa Wharf precinct where you can sample local distillery for Single Malt Whisky or Gin (own expense) or visit a cellar door for those keen on wine tasting.

Following this foray, we drive out to Hindmarsh Island and the Mouth of the Murray, where the Murray river (the longest river in Australia at 2,508 kilometres) meets the Southern Ocean.

After such an expedition, a refreshing afternoon tea/coffee is in the making for us in McLaren Vale, before our day ends back at your accommodation in Adelaide.
