We travel through Glenelg and follow the coastal road down to Moana beach, stopping to admire the beautiful coastline along the way.
The Iconic d’Arenberg cube is in the heart of McLaren Vale, this 5-level architectural masterpiece is the brainchild of current Winemaker Chester Osborne. Explore the
Alternate Realities Museum and take in the panoramic views over McLaren Vale, Willunga Hills and Gulf St Vincent from the top floor whilst sampling some of D’arenberg’s
delicious vino. Maybe just clasp a coffee and relax in d’Arenberg’s Polly’s café. (Own expense) or Salvador Dali Exhibition, featuring authentic bronze sculptures and graphic artwork (own expense).
With sufficient eclectic appraisals concluded we saunter our way to Hahndorf (the oldest surviving German village in Australia) through the spectacular countryside passing through many quaint country villages.
Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, you’re sure to enjoy your hearty 2-course lunch with a complimentary Beer or Wine at an authentic German Pub in Hahndorf.
